The project WELFARE – Designing the future welfare systems aims to build skills in social innovation work among professionals, the third sector and university students.

Vaxandi, a center for social innovation at the University of Iceland, leads the project, which is carried out in collaboration with universities and social enterprises in Belgium, Lithuania and Greece.

The project is funded by the Erasmus+ education program of the European Union.
